My Approach

I am a qualified Hypnotherapist, Trauma Informed Coach, Logotherapist, EMDR Practitioner and Accredited Life Coach, qualified to work with adults, children, couples and groups.

I provide a bespoke service by incorporating hypnotherapy, NLP, counselling, logotherapy, meditation and breath-work and coaching into your sessions. 

 

Depending on your needs, your treatment will include all approaches, which I will adapt depending on what is right for you.

Life Coaching

As an accredited Life Coach, I can work with you to overcome any obstacles you may be facing or to achieve any goals you may be striving for. Using a combination of NLP and personalised strategies, I will provide you with the tools needed to arrive at a a happier place.

Counselling

Using both psychodynamic and Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), I provide a safe space in which you will be listened to without judgement, regardless of what ever difficulties you may be facing. We will progress at your pace using the most appropriate approach for you.

Hypnotherapy

I will communicate with your subconscious in order to change negative thoughts, feelings and behaviour.  This heightened state of awareness, reached using skilled techniques, allows for me to make appropriately life changing suggestions. 

NLP

I incorporate Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) as a therapeutic approach to help people change unhelpful patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving. It’s based on the idea that our thoughts (neuro), language (linguistic), and behaviour patterns (programming) are interconnected, and by shifting the way we use language and mental imagery, we can reprogram our responses.

Logotherapy

Logotherapy is a counselling approach that focuses on helping clients discover meaning and purpose in their lives. Created by Viktor Frankl, it is based on the idea that, while we cannot always control what happens to us, we can choose how we respond. It is within this response that strength can be found.

Through logotherapy, I help clients to find hope and direction during difficult times, reframe challenges as opportunities for growth, and build resilience by connecting to a deeper sense of purpose

Meditation and Breathwork

I often incorporate meditation to assist with stress and anxiety reduction. Mindfulness meditation helps my clients to observe thoughts without judgment, reducing rumination and calming the nervous system.

Breath-work also helps to regulate the nervous system as
certain patterns of breathing activates the parasympathetic nervous system, lowering heart rate and blood pressure and providing emotional release, grounding and presence

I am accredited to Level 5 Standards with the IAPC&M to practice life coaching, hypnotherapy and counselling. I am also a qualified Trauma Informed Coach and a qualified EMDR practitioner. I adhere to the ethical code and conduct of the IAPC&M. I am fully insured and all clients will be required to complete a contract prior to therapy.
