You may appear calm, capable, and self-aware on the outside, yet inside feel anxious, stuck, or quietly overwhelmed. Perhaps you’ve spent much of your life managing yourself, adapting, and holding things together - you think deeply, notice a lot, and try to understand why things feel the way they do but insight alone hasn’t brought the ease or peace you hoped for.

You might not describe your past as traumatic, yet you sense that earlier experiences still shape how safe, settled, or connected you feel today. Old patterns may repeat - self-doubt, overthinking, emotional holding, or a feeling of not quite belonging - even when life looks fine from the outside.

If any of this resonates, you’re not broken or failing. These patterns often develop as ways of coping - intelligent, understandable responses to earlier experiences - and they can be gently understood and loosened.

This is a short, informal conversation to discuss whther this is right for you.

How I Work

My work is calm, reflective, and paced around you. I’m particularly mindful of how early experiences, including those shaped by family, culture, identity, or not quite belonging, can affect the nervous system long after the original situation has passed.

I begin by creating safety and understanding, rather than forcing change. Depending on what feels right, our work may include talking therapy, guided imagery or hypnotherapy, and gentle exploration of earlier experiences when they naturally arise.

You remain present and in control throughout. There is no expectation to relive anything, no scripts you must follow, and no pressure to define your experience in a particular way.

Who I Work With

I often work with women who have spent much of their lives coping quietly - thoughtful, capable people who feel inwardly tired from holding things together.

This may include women who have lived with a sense of difference, marginalisation, or needing to stay alert in order to belong, as well as those shaped by family dynamics or early emotional responsibility.

You do not need to label your experience as trauma. It’s enough to sense that something old is still influencing how you feel today.

You don’t need to know exactly what’s wrong - just where you feel stuck.

More About Me

I bring not only professional training to my work, but lived understanding. Like many people who seek therapy, I have experienced anxiety, low mood, and periods of self-doubt, and I know what it’s like to look for something that truly helps rather than just managing on the surface.

Over time, and through my own therapeutic journey, I found approaches that supported both understanding and real change. Those experiences shaped how I work today: with care, flexibility, and respect for how complex and individual each person’s story is.

I do not believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. We are all multifaceted, and our ways of coping develop for good reasons. My work is about helping you understand those patterns, soften what no longer serves you, and develop tools that support you beyond our sessions, at a pace that feels right for you.

Creating a thoughtful, personalised experience matters to me. I aim to offer a space that feels grounded, supportive, and human - where you are met with curiosity rather than judgement, and where change is allowed to unfold rather than be forced.

A Reflective Group for Women

I also offer a small, reflective group for women navigating periods of change - times when old ways of coping no longer fit, and questions of identity, meaning, or direction begin to surface. This is not group therapy, but a gentle, supportive space for shared reflection and exploration.
