I write about what is on my mind and what might also be on yours.
I write about what is on my mind and what might also be on yours.

'Read widely. Study other writers. Be thoughtful, then go out and do the work of changing the form, finding your own voice, and saying what you need to say. Be fearless. And care.'

— Glory Edim

I am Lisa Mason-Cooper, a therapist. I pretty much blog whatever is in my head at the time, whether this is an opinion about a topic I feel strongly about or thoughts on something I have seen, heard or read. You can expect anything - it might even be just about something that has happened in my day. To be honest, I am blogging because I have tried journalling and failed epically - every time! But I have so much in my head that I sometimes want to get out, so blogging is my chosen method.

What I Do.

I call myself a therapist because it encompasses everything I do - life coaching, counselling and hypnotherapy. My clients see me for most things and I also run successful weight management groups. I left my career as an English teacher of almost 24 years to practice therapy full time from the part time basis I was initially offering, due to so many people seeking my help. Mental Health is my absolute passion and I just want to help in healing those who need it.

How I Blog

I do not post at set times, simply because I post authentically when I feel that there is something I want to say. Neither do I post on particular topics - my thoughts and interests are varied and so are my blogs - they reflect who I am and I make no apologies for this. I do, however, hope that some of what you read will resonate with you in some way and even inspire some of you to write your own musings.
